Review of Miami Vice (2006) by Aaronb. — 03 Aug 2006

I had the pleasure of seeing "Miami Vice" last evening, and I have to say that it was quite good. It was not exactly perfect, but I felt that it was well directed, and possessed just enough action and just enough story to keep things interesting and to keep the movie from becoming a big dumb action flick.

Not to say that big dumb action flicks are always unwanted, it's just that it is nice to see a remake of a hit T.V. series not take the easy way out and, instead, develop an almost great plot with subperb characters.

All in all, the movie deserves a look from those of you who enjoy an action movie with brains.
