Review of Metropolis (1927) by Analogkid280 — 26 Feb 2013
Timeless storytelling that transcends generations and countries. You can see many influences from novels of that era. Even if the era is 86 years ago. Many themes are presented with the deadly sins. The building of the pyramids are even touched on.
The good and evil shown with the false Maria and true Maria. This movie is worth a watching even if it is for respect for the filmmakers who surely never expected people to be watching this film so many years in the future, and possibly the future they were dreaming of when creating this masterpiece.
