Review of Metropia (2009) by Sabra E — 10 Feb 2011
Metropia is about mind control and the media and a man who hears voices. The statement this story was trying to make was intriguing in a nutshell, but drawn out so taut, it lacked flavor in some weaker areas of the plot. The animation was spectacularly arranged, mesmerizing with its unique presentation.
Gallo and Lewis played their parts well enough to give the characters some flesh, though through poor sound quality, some bits of dialogue make the ears strain for a clues in this Noir-esque, kinda-sorta thriller about a 1984 type organization using dandruff shampoo as a conductor for mind control.
