Review of Metallica: Through the Never (2013) by Timothy D — 18 Sep 2013

I actually was at the premiere in San Francisco this past weekend and really enjoyed the concert portion but the attempt at making it into an actual movie was misguided and left you torn between wanting to figure out what was going on in the "plot" or wanting to see more 3D concert action.

Would've been better as a pure concert with maybe band interactions and backstage footage instead of a story without a plot.
