The hour-plus of deliriously enjoyable concert footage--which showcases some of the blisteringly best musicianship the band has ever displayed--is only mildly dampened by the minimalistic and somewhat nonsensical (not to mention reductive and cliched) narrative subplot.
An absolute must for fans and worth a look by anyone interested in understanding Metallica's lasting appeal.
