Review of Metallica: Through the Never (2013) by Lee C — 27 Feb 2014

Metallica concert footage with the occasional bit of film. Metallics play fast music at the best of times but on this they play like they've got somewhere to go afterwards! Everything's at double speed which spoils the music. Apart from that the sound isn't very good throughout.

The sporadic film on the other hand isn't anything special either. It seems like the whole idea was a great concept that just simply doesn't deliver. All credit to Metallica for sticking their neck out and taking chances.
