Review of Metallica: Some Kind of Monster (2004) by Elaine J — 01 Feb 2009
I loved it. even though its 2 and a half hours long, its still interesting to watch over and over again. it focuses mostly on the problems the band had ever since jason newsted left. james and lars seemed very standoffish towards each other most of the time too, which was interesting, cuz they both founded the band.
I also found it awesome how they brought dave mustaine from megadeth in to talk to him about his being kicked out of the band before. also it ends with robert trujillo's joining of the band and their releasing of st.
anger. this is a must see for any metallica fan or any music fan in general.
