Review of Metalhead (2013) by Kirk S — 04 Nov 2016

This film's plot borrowed heavily from my novel called Cowslip that was published in 2001. And, yes, my novel has minor Icelandic characters. That probably is what got it noticed in Iceland. I don't mind that this film borrowed from my novel, but I would like some credit for coming up with a lot of the storyline.

One need only read my novel Cowslip to see that about 65% of the plot of Metalhead comes straight out of the pages of my book and straight of my imagination. Yes, my dad is Icelandic and that's why I used minor Icelandic characters.

I love Iceland. Many of the plot parallels are odd enough and random enough to me more than mere coincidence.
