Review of Metal Lords (2022) by Pakaraka — 17 Apr 2022
After looking at the reviews of this movie, I can tell with certainty that the main audience was supposed to be young easily satisfied people who don't care about the philosophy of metal but rather about acting metal to be edgy and above their generation.
The cast is alright, I didn't know any of the actors which is always refreshing.
But the characters they portray remind me of any high school outcast wannabe badass movie ever, with a plot as original as eating with a fork, the good old "We're losers, but if we work together we'll kick so much ass blah blah".
If you want a cool metal band movie you will be disappointed, if you want a high school movie off the rack with some rock music as a side order you just might be able to have a good time watching this.
