Review of Message in a Bottle (1999) by Jean L — 28 Jul 2008
I started reading the novel, and decided to check out the film in between. I haven't finished the novel yet, but so far, the book is much than the film. We can't get into the characters minds on film so it was hard for me to connect with them, and by the time I did, the movie was almost over.
The movie was fine, but I'm more excited to finish the novel and really dig deep into these peoples lives. People mention how you'll need tissues, but I got more emotional during 50 First Dates and Dan in Real Life than with this.
Still a good watch I'd recommend it.
