Review of Message in a Bottle (1999) by Red A — 08 Oct 2010
I liked the idea of the movie, but somehow it felt like they didn't put in the sorrows and the feelings that I'd hoped for.
The movie is based on a Nicholas Sparks' novel after all. I was expecting to be close to tears, I expected for this to be a real tearjerker, and it could've been with its storyline.
But this movie just didn't touch my soul the way I'd hoped for it to. The other movies I've seen based on his novels have been a lot better. They managed to touch me in a profound way, a way that this one just couldn't.
