Ok so it's a little cliched in places, but this is definitely a classy tearjerker. Paul Newman is simply fantastic as Kevin Costner's dad, there is a real chemistry there. The basic premise - can you find true love again if you've lost your soulmate is answered so poignantly.
Me, I would have preferred a happy-ever-after ending, but I'm just a sucker for a love story.
