In Message from the King, Chadwick Boseman offers a decent performance, but it's also one that feels like a mix of T'Challa's accent and a demeanor that I found hard to believe at times.

You know he doesn't have the badass attitude. I mean he's believable, and the plot he's involved in touches on dark themes, but the film itself never dares to go all the way into that obscurity, which isn't a weakness per se, but it does feel like it stops halfway through both in terms of emotion and a much stronger story.
