Review of Mesrine: Public Enemy #1 (2008) by Joel M — 30 Mar 2010

For some reason Part 2 of Mesrines story is far more interseting, I wonder if the increase in violence has something to do with it. Our anti-hero is still at the bank robbing but is becoming more and more hated by the authorities he hates with equal fervor.

This im afraid was the beggining of the end for Mesrine who was hunted and taken by a Police force sick of his antics....he was also getting far to politicised by the end of his life and was more and more ruthless with his character.

Cassell is absolutely brilliant.
