Review of Mesrine: Public Enemy #1 (2008) by Kaj P — 11 Jun 2010
Solid ending of the biography of this famous French gangster. The first part deals with how he came to be stuck in his life of crime and this second part delves deeper into how he tries to make more out of his violent lifestyle.
Again, the movie doesn't take a stance into what is right or wrong, but just depicts the life of a man who sees himself a revolutionairy. Vincent Cassel is really a brilliant actor in how he portrays both the madness and the gentle nature in this twisted human being.
