Review of Mesrine: Public Enemy #1 (2008) by Jason C — 15 Nov 2010
The first film was about introducing the character. Once thats done, Cassel is more than comfortable and charismatic as Jacques Mesrine and we get a better film. The pacing is better, the script is stronger and, even if it flips through events of the public enemy #1's life like in the first film, it feels less rushed.
Good stuff.
