I just watched parts I and II. I never heard of this guy and I wonder how close the movies were to his real life. Fascinating stuff and I'm not a gangster movie fan. He seemed like something a little bit different than a typical gangster, he had many different incarnations, and the movie spun him as moving towards militant political violence near the end.
Great acting and cinematography.
