Both films together deserve five stars just for Vincent Cassels performance alone. Totally gripping from start to finish. Top quality film making that really captures the man and the decades in which he reaked havoc in France and abroad.
One small criticism. The biopic tends to jump from one period of time to the next without connecting the dots in between but this does add to the pace of the movies and I suppose it would be hard to fit everything in given that this dude was a one man crime wave.
