Meru is a decent climbing film. This could be rated a 7/10 but there was nothing in it that particularly stood out for me. The characters' backstories were interesting, but Conrad Anker and Jimmy Chin are already legends in the climbing community.

I wish there had been more about the climb itself and less about the seemingly embellished "drama" about Ozturk. I respect the climbers and the climb immensely, but this film simply was not that exciting.
