Review of Merchants of Doubt (2014) by Shirley L — 29 Mar 2015
This movie genre should be called the "Preaching to the Choir" category. I have probably seen 100 of these documentaries and they are all the same and the same 50 people watch them.
These documentaries always talk about the evils from corporations/religion/the GOP etc. We all know the outcomes, that the evildoers pay no attention and that liberals are usually right but we are a sad bunch of disorganized pussies while the conservatives are a well oiled machine.
Merchants of Doubt is yet another one of these preachy docs that have a moral and talk about important issues. Sadly no one that should watch it will and the people that do pay their hard earned cash have already accepted the facts.
The one learning experiences from these documentaries is that we all know that the message needs to be spread. However instead of doing it in the liberal Sundance Theater, how about it gets aired on Faux News.
