It does not matter that the acting is lousy and the story is paint-by-the-numbers predictable. It does not matter that we've seen all of these fights done better by the likes of Jackie Chan & Jet Li.
It does not matter that the main bad guy looks like he could be a stunt double for Christian Bale or that his right hand man comes off as a Richard Norton wannabe. What does matter is the sheer delight of watching Iko Uwais brutally punch, kick and pummell his way through lots of mobsters & pimps all over the city of Jakarta.
