Review of Merantau (2009) by Tim K — 14 Feb 2013
Just watched Merantau. Awesome film! If you have seen 'The Raid' then you'll love this! Merantau made a couple of years before 'The Raid' and has a few actors who have appeared in both especially the outstanding Iko Uwais as the lead.
A simple story played out by great performances. Fight scenes brilliantly captured. Superbly directed by the director of both films Gareth Evans.
