Review of Méphisto (1931) by Radek C — 18 Jun 2009
An example of a film which drags at first, then slightly picks up in the middle so it can bore you to death at the end. No emotions & no action, a rather wasted potential, cause the historical background of the film could have been used to its advantage.
Brandauer's performance deserves some recognition though.
