Review of Menace II Society (1993) by Andrew D — 10 Aug 2008
Violent and occasionally funny with some great scenes with stylish cinematography clearly inspired by Scorsese. It starts off exciting but the middle portion drags. Surprisingly balanced and moral film about immoral behavior that doesn't play the race card and doesn't portray the blacks as innocent victims (nor as all evil).
7.5/10.
