Boyz 'N The Hood is a better Black urban drama, but M II S to me is a bit scarier. The tone here is very nihilistic and brutal, the acting here is very good too. A story on crime, loss and fear from an impressionable protagonist.
As much as I like this film, it is colder than Boyz.
