Review of Men, Women & Children (2014) by Khwaja J — 22 Sep 2014
This is no Juno or Up in the Air, and the film has plenty of flaws, but Jason Reitman delivers in bringing us an engaging film with plenty to think about. The film and the characters are somewhat contrived, and it feels like the actors are forced into their roles, but I'd rather have a movie that gives you something to think about, rather just another stylish flick that leaves you with nothing to digest.
Ansel Elgort is definitely a standout here and is great at capturing the perfect balance within his character.
