After all these years, I've finally seen an Adam Sandler film and maybe I shouldn't have bothered. Dealing with the consequence of RL (real life) intruding into virtual life, this ensemble piece starts out as a smart modern comedy, but loses its bearings at about half way, turns serious and opens the door to a whole range of tired cliches.
