What the hell happened to Jason Reitman? This is a far inferior version of last year's "Disconnect," (which tackled similar technology-based themes much more meaningfully) and another waste of a talented cast.
It's so heavy-handed (complete with voice-over narration from Emma Thompson) it becomes laughable at times, and straight up unbearable at other times. It's just trying way too hard to be timely and relevant, and proves to be neither.
