Review of Men, Women & Children (2014) by Ellie L — 04 Jul 2015
Out of all the stories there were two that just irritating me. one more than they other. parents who "protect" their child from harm... that's gotta be an extreme exaggeration. I can't imagine anyone suffocating their child that much. the damage they can do to them or, as the movie shows, the damage they can do to another. easier said than done, but you have to trust that you have taught good honorable lessons to your child. and trust that with those lessons they are able to make the right choices. in the end, I just hated that mother in the movie.
Even after seeing the movie... and several weeks later seeing the trailer again just makes me even more angry at the mother who suffocates their child so much that they end up lashing out even worse than they can imagine and in all her "good intentions" cause harm to another person's child. it's just sickening. wish I never watched this movie.
