Review of Men, Women & Children (2014) by Scottie T — 08 Mar 2015
Even though we've always known that people are inherently evil (re-read "Lord of the Flies" if you're unconvinced), the digital world that we live in has definitely removed the relational aspects of our lives, making us wandering islands in a sea of empty connections.
What "Men, Women & Children" does well is to show the madness that we've allowed to perpetuate our lives by superimposing the digital world on "RL". Granted, many of the characters are tropes, extreme exaggerations of vague archetypes, but the message remains clear: wake up and interact with the real world . . . it's the only one we've got.
