Review of Men with Brooms (2002) by Corey N — 10 Feb 2009
Paul Gross and company bring us a decent comedy centered around curling. Now the story is entertaining and some of the characters are very interesting. You can tell this has the Canadian cinema feel and look to it.
Paul Gross plays the lead character very well. They try and bring some coolness or excitment to the sport of curling during the movie. I have played and watched curling. It's not that exciting or cool.
The film has a great soundtrack. You even get a cameo from the Tragically hip.
