Review of Men of Honor (2000) by Chris Q — 31 Aug 2008

Maybe the acting is overdone a little at times but it is the story that matters here. Truly inspirational and deserved higher critical recgognition. 'A son never forgets' is a saying literally have etched on my heart.

I think the story is all the better not just for the prejudice shown to Cuba but how the bigoted De Niro is slowly won over by the courageous attempts to succeed....
