A very moving movie about a real life hero and someone who will touch your heart with his incredible endurance, sacrifice and will to succeed against all odds, at this point I'd normally tell you how great De Niro was and that Cuba Gooding Jnr. Is superb but let's forget all of that and pay homage to a man that changed American Navy due to his will to prove everyone wrong and to break prejudices against black men in the Navy.
Carl Brashear is one truly remarkable man and I'm glad by watching this movie I've learnt about some of his life and how he's an inspiration to millions.
