Review of Men in Black 3 (2012) by Ryan G — 27 Feb 2014
Third instalment of this popular franchise where we follow the endeavours of agent K (Tommy Lee Jones) and agent J (Will Smith), both working as partners in MiB, Men In Black, a special branch of the US security department in charge of monitoring and policing aliens residing on Earth. It is a comedy mixed with some sci-fi, it was originally based in a comic book and then it made its way to the cinema.
It is the weakest of the three films, the plot is confusing (almost unavoidable fact when you deal with time travel) the action is far fetched and the jokes are not that funny despite the best efforts of the lead characters. You wouldn't say it is a boring movie but the storyline has lost its shine and it is just feels like we have seen it all before, plus there is too much nonsense and little things that don't add up.
