Review of Men in Black 3 (2012) by Bret G — 19 Oct 2014
The time travel aspect is inconsistent and doesn't make a lot of sense, but 'Men in Black III' is a massive improvement over its direct predecessor and well worth seeing if you're a fan of the franchise.
The visual effects are constantly impressive, and Brolin's disconcertingly perfect portrayal of a young K. deserves all the praise that has been lavished upon it. The real surprise is how emotionally resonant 'III' proves to be.
If you can overlook the retconning and plot holes, you might just come away actually feeling something. Rent it.
