Review of Memory (2022) by Jluis_001 — 05 May 2022
Memory was helmed by a director who can easily be classified as a very competent director. After all, Martin Campbell has some pretty decent films on his resume. So I expected this film starring Liam Neeson to be more accomplished than his latest endeavours, but it was not meant to be.
We get to see once again what kind of stories producers are offering Neeson, and he's made it pretty clear that he has absolutely no intention of turning them down.
Clearly the money is good, but Memory is a failed action film that employs a ludicrous narrative device to set itself up as something that could be called a story, and worse, while not a disaster by any means, this is not a good film either.
I honestly haven't expected anything from Liam Neeson in this area of films for years, but the truth is that every film he releases gets lost faster and faster into oblivion.
