Do you like serial killer movies? Did you think Se7en was the best one ever made? While you obviously have not seen Memories of Murder. This is the best serial killer movie ever and yet another stellar movie from South Korea.
Song Kang-ho turns in another great performance affirming himself as one of the top talents working today. The rest of the cast is also strong working off of Kang-ho. Bong Joon-ho also shows off why he is one of the greatest living directors.
He started here on how you take a genre of movies that are full of cliches and make it new again. He did it once again 3 years later in The Host and who knows what genre he will take apart and make his own next.
This movie is funny, scary, dramatic and thrilling all at once. Great cinematography, awesome soundtrack, and spot on performances and directing. See this movie as soon as you possibly can.
