Review of Memories of Murder (2003) by Corey H — 03 Mar 2008
A real good piece of film making from Korea. The scenery and shots are fantastic and the characters are great. It tells the story of the first serial murder case in Korea during the late 1980's. This is a welcome treat after all the CSI shows where no crime can go unsolved and they have unlimited resources.
Here we see a limited police force, using primitive techniques (mainly because they don't have the modern resources to solve the crime). Don't expect a happy conclusion either.
