Review of Memories of Murder (2003) by Stevan L — 27 Aug 2009
Exceptional thriller. So many times during the film had I expected it to take the stereotypical road of serial-killers/detective movies and opt for cliches of its genre but it really focused more on the characters than of the "whodunnit".
The pacing is casual with intense moments of investigation that kept me glued to the screen and the very detail that could help in tracking the killer(s). Loved the ending. Highly recommended. Oh, and it's based on true events.
