You don't realize how depraved the recent slew of Hollywood serial killer films truly are until you see the topic done right in a film like this. Based on a true story, the film shuffles effortlessly between humour, surreal suspense, shocking violence, and social commentary.
True to life, cases like this don't always resolve neatly.
