Review of Memories of Murder (2003) by Mikael B — 09 Dec 2008
The actual focus of this film is the anatomy of a small-town investigation during military rule. The scientific mind of the cop from Seoul acts as a counterpoint to the superstitious mind of the local policeman.
Neither the system nor the circumstances come to the aid, the result being something like lyrical insanity.
