Review of Memories of Murder (2003) by Lucas K — 15 Feb 2011
Based off the case of a real serial killer, this movie is absolutely haunting. It's able to keep you interested as it portrays a team of detectives slowly losing their mind (and character and integrity) as they try desperately to track down the killer.
The acting was top-notch, the cinematography is beautiful, and there are some scenes which can downright give you the chills. A tension-filled ride that kicks you in the gut at the end; it's just about flawless.
Now THIS is a freakin' movie.
