Review of Memories of Murder (2003) by Daniel N — 22 Apr 2011
Set in 1986 two local brash Korean rural detectives team up with another from Seoul to investigate a series of murders. The two rural police are used to beating confessions out of suspects but as the investigation processeds they can see that this method wont work and only the cool and calm big city detective can show them the path to solve this case.
Memories of murder is a movie I love to hate. If you love a good thriller, complex storyline and an ending that will stay with you I suggest watching this movies. If I were to compare it to another movie it would be Zodiac.
