Review of Memoirs of a Geisha (2005) by Alejandro C — 23 Feb 2010
Memoirs of a Geisha is pure and absolute visual delight (nicely complemented by the beautiful score of John Williams). Sadly, its refference point, the brilliant book by Arthur Golden, is way too high.
But, once you manage to leave the text aside, you'll find the brilliance of this film.
