I really didn't like this film, mostly because of the story, which I thought was positively absurd and ridiculous. It's basically Cinderella, but with a Japanese twist, and not a very good one at that.
What this movie does do well at is the beautiful music, gorgeous costuming, and cinematography. For people who like romance, you'd enjoy it, but for people looking for a little more than just a boring love story, look elsewhere.
