This film was simply gorgeous. My favourite thing about it was the cinematography. The lighting was great, I just loved the colour schemes used in this film. The sets were absolutely astounding too. The director of photography clearly knew what they were doing, as well as the director.
Even if the acting was crap I would have loved this film. To my delight, the casting was done well too. The performers truly immersed themselves in their roles. The musical score complimented all the artful camerawork in this film.
The weathershots were simply perfect, Japan's beauty was captured in this film. The plot was moving too, I didn't know too much about Geisha's until I watched this film, so it was an enlightening experience.
Clearly some extremely talented filmmakers put expert work into this production, a fantastic film overall.
