I really don't agree with some critics about this movie. Who cares that this wasn't an insight of the real geisha life or that it was made for non Japanese audience? This is a good 19th century Japanese Pretty Woman story and Ziyi Zhang is the perfect choice for the role, breathtakingly acted while her beauty is otherworldly exotic.
Don't believe the critics, this movie is a must see.
