Review of Memoirs of a Geisha (2005) by Catie M — 08 Jul 2012
This movie was phenomenally well done. It captured a fascinating time in Japanese history while also capturing a fascinating part of Japanese culture (although it wasn't really culturally accurate, perhaps).
One odd thing about this movies that the majority of the young female roles seemed to go to Chinese women. Not that I am angry about it, just interesting.
