Review of Memoirs of a Geisha (2005) by Eliza-Jk — 03 Jun 2011
As most movie adaptations of books are, it's not as good as its original. That being said, it's still a wonderful film, if a bit long as slow at times; this is easily overlooked by the thought that it is, in fact, a true story.
While at times overflowing with melodrama and anachronisms, the beauty of the entire thing makes it a worthwhile movie to watch at least once.
