The movie is visually delightful and the sountrack eases your senses. It might throw up a few good ideas for interior designers!! But it is no longer is a 'memoir', that the book was. The treatment is melodramatic and immature.
Maybe they should have struck to the book more as understanding a 'Geisha's life is no easy job.
